Rapidshare + Sky ISP

Hi,

Anyone else having issues with www.rapidshare.com and with sky.

Keep getting damn 500 internal server issues!!

I actually think its sky thats causing the problem. Thanks for the input though.

I am on Sky and I too am having issues with Rapidshare. Hopefully it will be fixed soon

not that I use it but I followed the link and it doesn't want to load, did try and use it the other day though and I had a similar problem.

Try using the Rapidshare secure server? I had issues once but http://ssl.rapidshare.com/ worked fine somehow

Im with Sky and get the 500 internal server issue with rapidshare all the time too.

I heard some ISPs do funny things with rapidshare and similar websites.

If you're having issues use:

http://rs1.rapidshare.com/<filedetails>

I.e. just add rs1. for the subdomain.

Im with orange and Rapidshare was extremely slow for me today, but downloading the same file from Megaupload was extremely fast

I was having issues where i couldn't get on anything to do with rapidshare let alone download, did a bit searching and it ended up being BT's problem something to do with DNS.

What sorted it was editing my hosts file and adding the following:

195.122.131.46 rapidshare.com
195.122.131.46 www.rapidshare.com

C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts (open the file in notepad)

works fine for me on O2 broadband and never had any issues with sky either
