What is the cost of getting a radiator installed into a garage converted study in the house?

It's a standard rad which I have I just need a quote for fixing it to the wall and then hooking it up to the existing pipes.

Thanks.

What would be a logical thing to do, this may come as a shock....

Phone a couple of plumbers and get some quotes, as no-one here will be able to tell you as no-one here knows how much pipework will be needed, what kind of access for that pipework there is, or what route that pipework will have to take.

Depends on area, plumbers, how gullible you are etc

I have just had two quotes to do the following:

3 hot and cold taps plus piping to them
1 toilet connection
1 shower connection

All plumbed into existing system (house extension). I admit the initial pipe run is long (9m) but I got the following two quotes

£2,500 and £1,400

I worked out the materials were £600 max which means the plumbers wanted either £1,900 or £800 for what I figured was a maximum of a week's work (I was been generous in my estimate)

Anyway I did it myself and materials ended up costing £376.00 and it only took me a week with my "slow" work.

So on that basis I can see you being quoted anything from £80 to £500 depending on the length of the connecting pipes.

we have literally just had someone round so when we get the quote back i can update for you

excellent - Good timing to be asking then! :D

Got a bloke coming round tommorow to give me a quote - it's going in a garage converted study...

It's quite cold in ere without a rad and the leccy heater I don't like having on, I can almost hear the coins hitting the floor :(
