Anybody off work today because of the winter bugs? I am loaded with cold, aches and pains in my legs, runny nose and high fever. Snots all over and unexpected drips.
me too cept i'm in work because it's december and things have to be processed before the 31st
damned finance.
I bet all the people with "flu" didn't/don't actually have the flu, just a rough cold.
I've got a cold at the moment. My weekend was spent in bed with it, and now I'm well enough to work but still poorly. I've not got any worries of infecting my colleagues, they all had it before I did
I hope that cold is horrible and lingers for ages

at work, no doubt I will flick a switch and at 14:00 on christmas eve get ill for about 48 hours until I return to work.
I'm fed up. Got a full on cold with high temperature. I thought I was going to set the bed on fire last night, was like sleeping in a furnace.
I was hoping to sleep it off, but next door are banging and drilling aimlessly it seems. It hasn't let up for two hours. I can't stare at the TV or computer for too long and I can't sleep. ARGH!

Not me, feel knackered because I didn't get enough sleep last night but at least I'm not ill!
Had one day off last week though, that was due to eating some meat that was in date but obviously had gone off. I spent the whole next day vomiting I then found out that one of my housemates had shut our fridge too hard and it had swung back open. The fridge had been open all night for about 10 hours until someone shut it the next morning! Obviously that is why the meat was gone off when I cooked it.

To be fair if I am ever off ill, and if I'm not sleeping or actually vomiting, I usually watch tv, play on my xbox 360, go on the computer, or possibly read a book.
