damn you I've been looking for a cheap G5 for ages!!! And you go and get one for 1p... Does it have the weights with it and stuff?
 
Yeah I used to work there and we'd have random stuff like that in our price changes. Got some decent cd cases from work for 1p. Plus lots of nintendogs. :o

I got a G5 and im having problems with my scroll wheel too. What procedure did you have to go through, I didn't realise Logitech would replace them !?
 
Gloucester, explains it all really, they are probably selling all stock cheap in the shops just before it gets bombed by..

..I've said too much..

..anyway i'll check that shop out at lunch, it's probably the case that old stock clearance, kinda like whats happening with Woolies, but 1p is a clear pricing error. If i stumble along same luck in Brum, i'll just buy the lot lol, if not, i'll try Worcestershire, it's like gloucestershire, but slightly less thick as..

..I'll stop myself there, i just don't like the place :)
 
I do know what you mean, it has got better in recent years though.

I live in Cheltenham, only ten miles down the road, but worlds apart.

EDIT:
Not a pricing error, just clearing stock, as last week I checked and it was full price.

Yeh, i hear Cheltenham is good, especially for a night out, but I'm not paying Taxi from Worcester lol.

A company i used to work for sent me to college a couple of years ago and they decided on Gloucester. After attending for a couple of weeks, wading through reams of chavs (at the college too!), spitting on the floor as you walked past and duffed up teenage girls with big hoop earrings and the most disgusting accents imaginable (A Farmer/Jipsy cross breed), i told my company where to go and left :)
 
So you got a Logitech G5 and an Icemat for a grand total of 2p....U sir may have gotten yourself an epic win ;)

I also didn't know about calling logitech up and them sending replacesments :eek: should have send my old desktop combi since its pretty knackered. Did you exactly have to do to get the replacement?? I'm sure its not as easy as hi can i have a replacement plz?

I tell people that if you buy a Logitech mouse you won't have to buy another.

I bought my first Logitech mouse a few years back, MX510, it developed a faulty left button, contacted them and they just sent me out a new one without any hassle, even though the mouse was about 3 years old. All I had to do was cut the USB end off the old one and send it back to them.

The one they sent me eventually developed the same problem so I contacted them again, but this time they didn't have any 510s in stock so they sent me the next model up, which is a lovely MX518 :D

Logitech certainly know how to look after their customers :)

my mouse wheel has gone duff 2, just ring em and tell them? did they need the reciept? how fast was the swap process.

I just got the number from their site I think. They didn't ask for a receipt, they just asked how old it was. I think if it's within a year old you take it back to the store but if it's older you deal direct with Logitech.

They send you out the replacement, when you receive it you have to then cut the USB end off your faulty mouse and send it back to them and bin the mouse.

If I remember correctly, the address you send it to is in Belgium.
