Any other Bikers?

Nothing dull and depressing about being a lawyer :) Right now I have no job so you've got a big one up on me there :D

Are you American or did you move there?

I'm 100% English, moved over to the US last year. Love it here, its paradise for me :)

All the bike/car pics you'll find on these forums were in the UK apart from my Cayman S / 911 C2S were in the UK. The roads out here are kinda boring, that's why I keep the bikes in the UK.

But you have less traffic I spose?

I often think to myself that Americans, educated ones at least, have a standard of life we could onyl dream of over here. On the other hand, I think if you're poor your screwed.

Oh absolutely, the rich/poor divide here is much worse than in the UK but we do pay significantly less taxes. The flip side of that of course is that benefits aren't as good for the poorer people.

Standard of living here is fantastic if you have money, I moved over when it was 2:1 as well so I made a lot of money in the move. As for traffic, where I live I'd say it's much worse than the UK, with no roundabouts (all stop signals and intersections) it's always stop start no matter where I go around the Orlando area. That's before we get into the fact that people get their driving licenses in Florida out of their cereal boxes... don't even get me started on the tourists either :(

2006 GSXR 750 here :D

Not many mods aside from the pipes

Love this shot - I always thought my ninja looked great from the rear, not so much at the front, but ace at this angle :) Your 10R just looks evil and I love it :D

Scort.

Totally agree with you. Here's my 636 from a similar angle :D

Only mods are R&G tail tidy and double bubble screen. Love it to bits though, even went to Europe on it for 10 days back in September.

I was in that exact same spot with my ZX6 about 3 months ago! Didn't get a photo though...

Heh, lovely city isnt it? That was taken about 8am - we were stopping at Charlie Rockets so rode a few streets into the market place and had breakfast in one of those surrounding restaurants, whilst watching the fit young ladies go to work on the bicycles, before heading off to see some WW1 and WW2 sites.

One of the reasons I love bikes more than cars - you can just take them places and park wherever you want without hassle.

Lovely bike :) Miss mine now :(

Traded in my busa for this, have not had the chance to ride for 5 weeks due to work and ***** weather.

I was so close to getting a white and black one of these, the R1 was just a better deal (for me) in the end, so that swayed me, but a lovely bike there fella :)

Yeah it's a very beautiful city. Didn't plan on going there but stopped off there on the way back to the ferry port. Very expensive but still glad I went. We stayed in a hotel about 2 minutes walk behind where the photo was taken from. The one way system around there is a nightmare though. My TomTom kept trying to send me down one way roads the wrong way lol.

Hi Scott,

I had exactly the same bike last year, fantastic bike, I fitted a full Akrapovic system and power commander, the top end hit was awesome :D
here's a pic of mine, i traded her in last march for the Busa, but in the end missed the nimbleness of a sport bike so now have a blade.

drool, and quite a upgrade in power from a pre 08 busa.. looks amazing, cbr looks really grow on you

i traded in my 08 Busa for the blade, even compared to the busa the blade's mid range is stunning. the blade looks so much nicer in the flesh, pics dont seem to do it justice, here's a pic of my busa

I'm loving some of the bikes in this thread. It's amazing how dated my 1998 zzr600 looks compared to the modern sports bikes! :p
