We all know you have a major problem with me but let's try to keep it off the forums as it ruins threads.

I wasn't aware that many played L4D, is there a game arranging thread as the search bring up nothing?

Its my experience also that a lot of the games that have huge pre-release hype on these forums have a short shelf life before people move on. Sure there are exceptions you have mentioned a few. But the majority suffer from this issue.

DannyJo, Alrik, Kreeeee and myself have been saying it since GRAW's release.
 
Im up for some MP Gow2. Infact i even played a bit of GTA MP last night. I dont buy into this, 'OCUK people are the only people worth playing games with and I must follow there playing trend' that others seem to buy into.

If you have a party 5 of making a team does the matchmaking work any better? I had a few rounds of guardian last night - I HATE how you get kicked back to the main menu after.

I agree, the trouble with jumping into completely random rooms is you often come up against people playing and talking together and you get royally butt ****ed.

That's the only reason I've tended to play games with the people on here. My real life friends don't get anywhere near as much time online playing games and certaintly not to the times I'm playing.

Games on Ocuk never really last long, it's to be expected really with the nature of these forums. People bang through games, nothing wrong with that. Just an observation.

A few have had decent life, Gears 1, COD4 lasted a couple of good months, much much longer for a few more people. GRAW1 lasted a very long time due to the lack of games at the time. Evo 6 and fifa 08 onwards. PGR3 in the early days was awesome. I've had some great ocuk poker nights.

To be fair it kinda suits me as I whip through and move on myself. This place doesn't tend to have longevity on games, fight night, forza, gears 2 etc etc but it is a great place to find matches and help especially when there are achievements to be raped ;)

My problem is when I see a game not being played much anymore by my RL friends and friends list I get shot quickly. Gears 2 and WaW will be gone by the weekend. I hate losing money :D I really wouldn't game online at all if I was playing randoms, I like the natter usually as much as the game.

Most of the games I play of COD of with those guys now just happen without threads arranging it. I see them online, I pop the disc in load up and wait for an invite. With the party system there is even less need for an arranging thread.

If I see someone online I just spam them :)

I admit I used to bait but I try not to do it any more, but naturally some people still hold grudges and I don't blame them. It's pointless baiting and reflects poorly on your character which is why I try not to rise to it anymore or start anything myself :)

Wingmans awesome. I'm off from thursday I'd love to play some games with you. My mate i play with is a bit of a gimp, he goes for kills instead of thinking about the game. On canal it's great. Even with the bots it's ace fun trying to get to 25 kills before the AI.

I would keep it over WaW no contest. I suppose thats because I see myself playing 4 more than WaW, especially with most of you guys going back to 4 anyway.
 
Honeslty Waw sucks, I've even had the joy of being host and the hit recognition just doesnt seem to work. COD 4 seems to reward the faster thinking playing whereas WaW is hide until you can get the dogs in.

I enjoyed GoW when i played a round for the 'remember you first' ach. Feel ive missed out on that as it seems you need to have a decent group of UK player just to make the game work properly (ie shoot people) and its only a week or so before 2 came out that I started on 1. Enjoyed Guardian with some yanks aswell last night when i was spamming through loads of games.
 
I've been away all week so not been on much.

I play early if theres someone to play with. Dan doesnt come on till 10 though and Jonny and Wiggis both have kids to put to bed etc.

I would be on now, but I am busy playing with my new 50" Kuro :D
 
Shes out at a party ah of all night until 2moz and Im off work now until the 5th Jan. Still not on though, started at 7pm last night and was bored as my homies werent about, Im on relentless on Waw and no figthing in the war room on COD 4 and couldn't be bother and wanna do GoW and 2 on insane but no co-op buddies... I think i prefer the night owl gaming :p

EDIT: Im a lazy forum typer so hopefully my posts dont read like im a grammar retard :P
 
2am Hardcore Search and Destroy games RAWK! :D

I'm waiting for you all to go back to COD4 so I can ask for an invite. :p

I wont be buying these maps, matchmaking was still borked when I last tried it.

I've had a few games during the day with a mate and I agree now. I really like the rifles in hardcore but anything other than that plays out as you have said. If I feel the need for a fix I may as well play 4. Zombies ace but needs more than 4 for the size of the level. Not owrth keeping just for that.

Nice size TV will make that camping in COD 4 with the sniper rifle that much easier :p
