Earlier on tonight like 9:30 the water in our building went a **** colour.
So we canny drink any water until the plumbers / water board figure out what is going on.

I feel for you dude, I'd hate to have to share a room! How can you have any personal time? Cant have ** gf round or anything, no private space to revise or even crack one out! Phone them up about it?

What kind of rubbish University makes you share rooms? Its not boarding school! I'd have told them to shove it to be honest.

I'm pretty lucky all things considered, I left it to the week before I moved back for my second year to find accommodation, didn't even see the place before i moved in.
Have you add your £500 from the uni yet for the first year accommodation bursary?

I have no idea. People were talking about it and some other bursay or something but Ive never heard of the thing.
If I get some money randomly for free then im not going to complain lol.
I had a "god" squadder in my halls. We each had our own room with a bathroom in between.
He would read the bible out through the connecting door while I was having a bath and have his friends round often with guitars and tamborenes to sing worship songs.

I'm a pretty much "live and let live" bloke but he kept insisting on knocking on my door and wanting to talk about God until I had to put him straight. He never really spoke to me again after that.
I would get in touch about it, I'm living with a fresher this year that had his place ballsed up by the uni. He got a £500 cheque to make up for the first year accommodation bursary.
You also get the jammy native welsh gits that get more free money than anybody else, obviously subsidised my the English economy.
