Just bought myself a GTX280 OC.

I found it in the clearance section, i thought it was a bargain at that price so why not !?

I gotta shift my 4870 before xmas now !

Certainly not an improvement worth £220. Why didn't you just get a 4870X2 or two GTX280s to begin with? Would have cost about the same, and the performace would have been far better.
 
In theory its not going to cost me that much.

I paid £220 delivered for my 4870 about 2 weeks ago, I could probably shift it for £200 now. The GTX cost me £220 delivered again, so in theory once my 4870 is sold, its only going to cost me £20 extra.
 
bah i was gonna bag this one my self this morning :)

tbh there are a lot of bgrade 280's come on for about 230 so im not toooo worried, more drinking money for xmas as i see it :)

Dunno havent got it yet, its an xmas present :p

As long as the card is in working order im not arsed about the box and all that ...Ive bought stuff off of the B-grade / Clearance section before and its been fine so theres no reason this shouldnt be too :)
