Good. I can see Catermole going the way of Joey Barton if he doesn't get his act together.

Also in the article, it says that the players have been banned from Stockton Borough and surrounding areas such as Yarm, Billingham and Thornaby.

I think they should have come to an agreement with Middlesbrough Borough Council aswell as Middlesbrough has the largest nightspot in the area and they are free to enter any pubs here! :p

Ohh and the fact that Catermole plays in Birmingham means he is still going to get wasted and cause trouble elsewhere.

Clubs need to work closely with pubs all around the country. If any players are causing trouble then the clubs should have the right to set an example and punish the player. Something which clubs should have been doing long ago.

Catermole plays for Wigan, I believe.

Nonsense frankly, clubs are employee's nothing more nothing less. Would you like your boss at whatever job you have to be able to ban you from going to certain places?

They are people, not gods, or anything else, if they misbehave they get punished in the real world. Why on earth do we need clubs involved in any of this. They got drunk, did whatever they did and then have done it again, got in trouble and the pubs in the area seem to have a setup where they blacklist trouble makers which frankly is a very good thing and more area's should also go about targetting and keeping trouble makers out of pubs/clubs and getting drunk all the time.

But when their behaviour affects their health, fitness and performance for their job when they get payed tens of thousands of pounds per week and a club with is worth 200,300,400 million pound.

That's the difference between you and me going out on the lash.

People pay £30 every week to go watch their team play, and when the players aren't performing because they have a hangover then that's when something needs to be done.

When there is that much money involved and the amount of people that worship these players, then you can consider them superstars and they should act accordingly.

Shame he has never been around Wigan, he would be in his element in King Street.

Even in George Best day this was even frowned upon so now we give players £40k a week to go get wasted.
