MG ZS - The same inside as a Rover 400?

It's the same car.

That's what I say, esp to my mate who has an 04 plate Rover 45 with the same 2L TD engine as in mine! He paid 2 grand more than me for the same thing.

Just wondered if the Zed was a bit different interior wise, obviously not :p I drove a 120 and wasn't impressed with the power on offer so thats why I mentioned the TD.

Just stick with your diseasle until such time as you want to get/can afford a decent car.

No point in "upgrading" to the same car in drag ;)

Otherwise you'll just end up like agw, and never break free from owning a rover. :p

Isn't the ZT widely regarded as being the only rover really worth going for? I'd imagine the RWD V8 model to actually be fairly good.

The 75 platform was known for being the only "modern" rover/mg platform worth owning. And as you say, I bet the 260 would be quite decent in all honesty.

I like the car, and consider it decent, just while my insurance matures I need something cheap to insure but also quick enough to keep me smiling.

330i may be on the list with them being able to hold more than 30mpg, looks like a decent buy.

Sidenote - Can I do my own repair work on them, or do I need to take it to a garage? I love home fixes on my 400 :)
