Well I have the GA-P31-DS3L, note the missing E
That board seems to be a later version of the one I have.
Mine has been great, originally bought for a server, had my Q6600 running at 3Ghz without even having to raise the voltage. Then had an E2160 running at 3Ghz and now has a E1200 at 2.66Ghz 1.2v (1333FSB) as my eco pc. Has been faultless, so much so I installed one in a build for a friends son.
The only downsides are PCI-E 1.1 instead of the latest 2.0 and only being to use 2 dimm sockets so you'll want to get a pair 2GB rather than four 1GB modules.
You should get a decent enough clock on the 2180, there are plenty of memory divider options and voltages for anything but extreme OCing.

Edit
With that CPU almost any 1333FSB board will be fine for 3.3Ghz, perhaps a little more.
