Changed my mind yet again. PLease help me make a decision!

tested it?

Nope. :p

The electrics are not in yet!

Anyway is guaranteed for life and to work and I have designed it so at a push I can take it out again. :D;)

Cost a lot of money though:eek::eek::eek::eek:

May sound obvious but some speakers require more powerful amps to be driven properly for varying reasons, not to mention different speakers carry different audio signatures, and amp will still have its own signature though, so both influence the sound in varying ways. See enough people with w**k quality audio because they've paired an awful source with good equipment, or terrible speakers with a good source and you'll see what I mean!

Easy, dont even listen to anything WhatHIFI has to say. Onkyo's might well be great HT amps but whatHIFI are well knows for pushing whoever wants to advertise in their mags. Home cinema mag is better but if you want nutrality you HAVE to ask on a decent online foru,.

Whats wrong with the cable?

I bought it from a company that is on the HDMI Adopters list. And they guarantee it will work.

I thought 49.99 was ok: :p for a 15m cable?

Just to mix it up a bit = I took my Onkyo 606 back to the store (it started to buzz the 2nd day I had it) and got a black Denon 1909 for £339 new.

Im so much more happier with the Denon. The sound to me is fantastic for HT and music listening and it looks far better than the 606.

.... The 15m HDMI pro-2 cable would have done the same job for £15 cheaper. And you can can get 15m hdmi cables cheaper than that, that would also do the same job.

Those £50 Platinum's arent actually any better, Easyrider.....
