What's the name of the song played in the movie bill and ted's excellent adventure?

Hey Guys,

I have been searching everywhere

I am after the song which is played in the scene of the movie where bill and ted make it out of the phone booth (time machine). There in the future in that room I think if my memory serves me right it was a hexagon room. With smoke and a group of guys with black shades on greeted by some old man with a guitar and this awesome song is played. It sounds like U2 but I am told it's not U2. I have searched the soundtracks for both movies.

Bill and ted's excellent adventure and the seuqel bill and ted's bogus journey and it's doesn't seem to be on there.

Usually the case is if it's played in the movie you find it on the soundtrack, unless I missed a track.

Please does anyone know the name of this song

It keeps playing in my mind and I really want to listen to it.

However in the film Stevie Salas did an improve on guiter and is not featured on any copy of the music or sountrack available, just the film. Sorry.

The soundtrack to Bogus Journey is one of the greatest of all time. Try and find a copy.
