Gas & Elec Bill - how much is yours?

£16 for one and £33 for the other per month. Two people, two bed flat, so £588 per year :)
 
£128 a month, 3 bed semi .... but I have wor lass and 19 and 20 year old lasses, the hair straighteners probably knock up aboot a ton a month ;)
 
Ours has been a shocker!! (Did you like that?:D) Where £85 in credit and ours went from £56 to £90 for leccy and then to £93!!!! A ******* month!! That 2 adults a 5 year old and a 8 month old in a 3 bed terrace. We are paying a total of £150 a month :(

Then out of nowhere, a knock on the door. Door to door salesman from eon and he couldnt believe what we was paying. So from Jan our bills will go down. He was saying that British Gas put up their prices twice in a matter of months, no **** sherlock!!
 
2 bed terraced house. I love on my own. I pay £20 Gas & £25 Electric a month. I am with Atlantic and I get billed every 6 months. At the moment I am in credit, £45 Gas and £46 Sparky :)

We pay a toal £130 a month, and thats 2 adults and two babies in a 3 bed semi.
Be careful with door salesman, we had one from southern electric a couple of months back, and he promised super low rates. when i signed up, the following day i phoned up their head office, and they confirmed there was no way they could offer such low prices- sales guy was lying through his teeth, just to get his comission. keep an eye on your bills mate.
 
There`s only one way to compare companies. Price per unit and standing charges. This info isn`t readily available, you have to ask but common sense would suggest that if you pay say whatever pence per kilowatt hour of electricity (info on bill) then simply ask what "theirs" is, job done :)

Salesmen can always reduce your bill, until you have yer meter read and yer in arrears ;) They`ve already got their tenner, they don`t give a ****
 
Just seemsthat Bristish Gas are the worst culprits for raising their charges. The leccy was used all summer as the GF was at home for a long time, with being pregnant, therefore leccy was being used. Shes back at work now. But all the increases were based on us being £85 in credit!! Swindling robbing gits!
 
£64 a month for both, 2 bed mid terrace.

From feb this year I am £124 in credit on the leccy, owe £3 on the gas.
 
about 130 a month for both, 3 bedroom concrete walls, 4 people - amazes me that the price of oil etc has come right down but the gas / electric companies say they can't bring the prices down as they bought a lot of evergy at higher prices.

10p a litre off of petrol in the last couple of months and not a penny lower on energy.

Money grabbing fat cats - don't see them taking to long to put the prices up so I guess they don't buy so much when its cheap........
