Hey guys, sorry to ask this question on here but the sticky at the top has not been updated for a while and I want the best results for my money.

I will use it almost exclusively for gaming, at a 1680x1050 resolution.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but I should have mentioned £600 is my absolute top (wouldn't mind +10quid over but prefer not). Also I will need a case with the system.

The E8400 is a great CPU, will overclock easily, even at stock it's quick.

The P45 board will allow crossfire, so if you want a bit more firepower sometime down the line you could always get another 4850.

The zalman PSU comes recommended, quiet and with it being modular it's a lot easier when it comes to the build. Great for the price and definitely powerful enough.

At the resolution you play at you won't need anymore than the 4850, it's a cracking card. The only game you'll struggle to max out is crysis. I've managed to run the latest games on the highest settings with AA enabled on my 4850, fallout 3, left 4 dead, grid, mass effect...
