When can we expect to see these on overclockers? From what I've seen the evga ones have a slightly different cooler and they seem cheaper than the 65nm ones.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
Be very surprised if they are cheaper. How often do you see newer cards under cut current ones on release?
No doubt OcUK will stock them, in theory they should overclock even better than the outstanding 65nm 260s.

Your just going to have to take a chance on getting a 55nm.

hmm you guys really think it would actually be cheaper than a 65nm part?
Well they should be cheaper, it costs less to make them!
Is that clocked higher?
I like the look of the EVGA model, but they should be at 4870 1GB or below price and not above. Probably will drop in price a few week after launch hopefully.

This could well be my next upgrade. Would you say this will be a good noticable improvement over my current gfx card which is a 8800 GTS (G92)?
I need a bit more horse power as I have just bought a new monitor!

Looks a bit like the old 8800 GT cooler.
Should be quite a boost.![]()

Good, might be ordering one of these then very soon!
Just moved up to the world of 30" gaming, although I wont be gaming at native res - I will just be downscaling to 1920x1200 (I dont think this card is that powerful enough!)![]()
