Very, very good card at the price and a much better option than a 8400/9400/9500 for gaming.

Not got many of these so you will have to be quick!

Oh wow I'd be tempted to buy one just to clock it stupidly high. If I had the money that is.

Somebody buy me one! :p

couple things to keep in mind, 256mb goes a LOT further on ATi cards than Nvidia, I wouldn't get a 256mb Nvidia card for 1280x1024 these days, while I'd happily get an ATi card for that res at 256mb.

Its a fast card , it won't run particularly hot though it does use a lot of juice. Its cheap, 2 of them wouldn't perform far off a 3870x2, but would use a lot of juice again. Not a bad option should be faster than anything you can get for a similar price but the money saved might end up wasted on power, even idle they run quite a load.

Perhaps but it will be used at a resolution of 1920x1200 as a spare, it would simply have no chance at this resolution, if it was 512mb I'd plump for it.

Card really does not stand a chance on anything above a 1680x1024 red really, but then again it has been priced to compete with a 8400GS!

I came in here expecting well priced 8800's and above. Thread did not deliver :p

It's Christmas and I need a cheap 8800, throw us a bone ;)

How would one of these go in a mid range gaming SFF rig? Need it to run on a HDTV: native res 1366x768 with an overclocked E7300 @ 3.2GHz. I was gonna get a 4850 but not sure if that would be overkill.
