PS3 Bluray - Change AR?

Is there any way to change the aspect ratio when watching a bluray on the PS3?

Borders really bug me.

Only if you have a TV which lets you zoom, or make other adjustments.

Should be in video options in the settings. Mines on auto I think on a 26" Sony Bravia. Works a treat

I'm curious about this too. I have a Sony 40w4000 1080p and get the black borders. I can use the zoom screen format on the TV but this means I lose some of the screen either side. Anything need setting on the PS3?

Correction

2.35 ratio movies have boarders on a 16:9 television.

Same was as a 4:3 ratio TV show has boarders on a 16:9 television (on the sides)
