So just randomly checking www.xe.com and the £ is worth 1.06 Euros :eek:

Surely the Euro can't become stronger than the £? If it does what happens then?

Hmm...let's think what could possibly be behind this...

With a weak pound, exports....increase...tourism from outside the UK...increases and people choosing to stay in the UK and spend their pennies here. It's all being carefully manipulated to get us out of recession quicker and to lessen the impact of that said recession. The rest of Europe may be laughing at the mo because their currency is strong, but it's going to hurt them massively in the long run.
