Corsair Deal

In my experience they don't stretch to much but are Completly Solid & Reliable. I'd have a set at that price just as spares to be quite ******* honest.

By stretch do you mean push past 800Mhz?

Sorry I write as I speak, My Corsair hasn't clocked to well but are Super stable, Need other comments of actual users though as my system is not an easy system to judge individual hardware with.
I Highly recommend them as a set that you can literally Sling in & run stable & if they are stable in my system I reckon they will be stable in Any system.

OCZ I cannot comment on as I have never owned a set.

Edit.
I was writing the above :D
You won't be dissapointed & I'd be interested to know what you get out of them.

I'm contemplating this to take my system to 8Gb as it seems a bit of a steel... However how much improvement will I see going from 4GB to 8GB

I doubt you will see much as most games/apps don't use all 4gb of ram. Although you may be able to turn off your page file :P but I wouldn't recommend it. Also if you overclock, it will be less stable with 4 sticks over 2 sticks.

No I wouldn't run it without a page file. What I'm think of now is 2 x 80GB drives in a strip config for the o/s

Never had a set of Corsair die on me but as stated above, they arn't the best clockers. OCZ clock well but can become flaky when pushed too far and die easily when excessive volts are used.
