Hey

Every now and then I hear my case vibrating, its quite annoying. When I tap it or shake it a bit the noise stops for a while. Does this sound like the case fans?

If so I'll probably replace the fans and put better dust filters in because the case draws in so much dust!

It may be your hd coursing the vibrations, perhaps losen or move out of the case and see what happens to the vibration.

Assuming it shares most of the features of the P182...............

Trust me, it is probably not the case fans or the hard disks.

I am presuming the hard disks are fitted with the silicon grommets provided? If so, its not them.

It is more likely to be the the front door. I love the case, but the door can and does vibrate, and can be annoying. Due to the 270° opening, the "hinges" are quite loose, and it is these that cause the vibration noise. It seems not to matter whether its open or closed. Not sure if changing the fans would help. Reading above, it seems it may do. But the source of the noise is almost certainly the front door.

Small piece of Blue tack for the win. :)

I have a p182 and I get this from time to time. Dont think it is the case fans as I have replaced all the tricools and used silicon mounts apart from the roof fan and run them at around 600rpm.

Tbh everytime I hear this I just give the case a good whack on the side panel and it goes away. If not I hit it harder lol
