How big is your turkey/duck/chicken etc.

4.5kg for £40.40 (For 3)...Mum believes in the best meat possible - local etc. How big is your turkey? Where did you get it from? How many will it feed?

About a 16lb turkey to feed 5 from a local farm. Personally I'd rather eat something I will enjoy for xmas dinner. Don't see why people eat about the worst meat going on xmas day, so for myself I've got a 5 and a half pound leg of lamb which I will cook on the BBQ xmas day.

turkey crown, its better somehow.

but i dont like turkey, but personally blame shoddy cooking for that, its a dry and nasty =[

Roast turkey sucks. Most roasts aren't even that nice imo, but we're having lamb which is nice

we've also got duck

last year we also had goose, but my dad decided to cook it the same as the turkey and basically crispified it -_-
