What's the biggest MicroSD card an N82 will take?

The theoretical limit is 32GB.

Manufacturers cover their asses by saying that a phone only supports cards that they have themselves tested.

As long as you stick to SanDisk cards, you should be fine.

Ok call me stupid (well perhaps dont ) but if the phone or any thing else for that matter can take a 2gb card then why cant it take a 4gb / 8gb / 16gb or even a 32gb ? After all its only extra storage for the device so why do they say things like "max memory card size 2gb" ? I understand that they may have only tested x amount of cards of x amount capacity but if works with a 2gb then does that not mean it will work with a 32gb ?

devices that say they only support 2GB usually don't support SD HC cards, because the limit for normal SD cards is 2GB
