How big is your turkey/duck/chicken etc.

Im not too keen on Turkey. Most years we have a nice bit of Aberdeen Angus, but this year we are going for a nice roast Gloucester Old Spot. Crackling.... mmmm yummy! :D

My Sister and her fiancé can't make it down until Boxing day, so we'll be having another 'Christmas' dinner then too.

Dont you always!? 2nd xmas dinner on boxing day, then throw the scraps together on the next day for a turkey curry. Yum!

Ergh Turkey curry sucks. My uncle makes a turkey last 4 days hes so tight. Two xmas dinners, then a Turkey curry, then he boils the carcass and makes soup with it.

No, normally, if everyone makes it down for Christmas Day, we just have a large buffet going on for Boxing Day. :)

Bargin and rather tasty.......as had one last year

I had 60lb of turkey arrive yesterday. 20 8oz fillets, 5 brace of Pheasants, 4lb Monkfish, 30 Duck breasts and so much more But alas not all for me as I am a Chef and I have a couple of so customers wanting all that. :)

god knows, but its a big momma! Sister works for Danish Crowne (the big bacon and meat selling company), so we got our usual Christmas hamper/supply of gammon joints, stacks of danish bacon, fresh salmon, whole chicken and turkey.

18lb Turkey and a smaller Turkey Crown. It's going to be Turkey Sandwich's, Turkey Curry, Sweet and Sour Turkey...etc. Next year, I'll put my foot down and take charge so we'll have Goose. I've tried to persuade my mother to let me help her with the turkey this year as it's usually a dried up mess but she's resisting.
