Does that package come with the small adapter to chage the gender to female. The cable is male and my monitor has a fixed vga cable which is also male. I need a female vga - female vga adaptor and I have small reason to believe it is supplied in this box.

I just want to add that the official cable does come with a gender changer, but third-party cables don't usually. Not that anyone would ever recommend the third-party cables, but just a warning in case

Mine didn't either. I did buy my official one a long time ago now though.

I got one with both my official VGA cables. One shortly after release, and one very recently.
