Hmm, have you seen his previous threads? I would wager that this is somthing like his mothers main (and only) present.

Do you know this for fact or are you just casting judgment based on employment status and age? I agree its not good to give as a main present but if its a filler then there's nothing wrong with what the guy has done.

Mate, I'm 17, no job, don't get EMA, and I've bought my whole family presents which are worth for than that! Pretty decent presents aswell, not that pricey, but not cheap quality such as yours :p

Its just a stab in the dark but if I had to guess I'd say he is basing it oh, ooh, his previous threads? :p

And here was me thinking that only I could see I had typed "previous threads". \o/

Money just saved up over the years from Christmas, Birthdays and selling stuff. Got about 100 quid in my wallet...

right, i'm sure your situation will be exactly the same when you go to Uni and have to pay for all your food, your accommodation, your Tuition fee's and EVERYTHING ELSE.

yup, your hundred quid'll last you the three or four years easy

No, but getting a crap job and not being a tight-arsed miser probably won't be his chosen path either ;)

It's not unfeasable that he will get a job before he goes to uni (if he goes to uni), he is only 17.

A friend's Brother got ID-ed when buying a bottle of Whisky for his Dad. Funny thing is, he's 31 and was in the same class at school as the girl asking for ID.
