12 months has gone by fast

Fair comment.

I would have thought people might have known better than to let any disagreements dictate that you must disregard everything that somebody says.

Totally unscientific unsubstantiated theroy 1:
As you get older a year becomes a smaller and smaller proportion of your life as a whole.

So for example when you are 5 years old, one year is 1/5 of your life - wow so long!
But when your 40 it becomes 1/40th of your life - booo so short!

Totally unscientific unsubstantiated theroy 2:
The younger you are the more new experiences you have, because you are doing everything for the first time. Once you hit middle age, stuck in a rut, every day becomes practically the same, hence the concept of time goes by faster.

There we go. My completely baseless thoughts on the matter. Merry Christmas everyone! :)

I agree, the past year has just flown by!
Its quite scary when you think about it!

I went to Dublin in August and it feels like it was only a few weeks ago!

I'd go more with you first observation. Usualy when things become reptititive is when time starts to drag.
