This community sometimes reminds me of American Psycho.
It's a tad daunting how materialistic our society is. We spend most of our lives undermining each others existence by benchmarking our possessions, assets and standards against each other, when all those things in essence are probably the least of our individual achievements or worries.
But I guess we have to sustain an active trophy cabinet of life to warn others of our success, be it knowing a good quality watch, having a solid opinion on what is or isn't a 'retro shoe' or believing that price determines quality (since when did we fall for that one, by the way?). Anyway, I digress.
