Only slight problems I have so far:
wifi drops. I need to play with security on router etc though. And I'll have my 3g sim soon so pfft.
Buttons are so small! lol. Gonna have to get some custom apps for bigger scroll bars etc.
UI is alright with the today screen, but im looking forward to touchflo :)
the top right x button doesnt close the damn apps! Again a simple app fixes this.
The rotation is a bit crap. my phone has to be vertical for it to work, but decides to like to be on its side a lot.

Other than that its sublime. Not that slow tbh, not to what I was expecting. Not that big either! (only a bit bigger than my old phone; w580i) Camera is quite good :) installing stuff is nice and easy.

Love this phone. Although I thought I broke the stylus earlier :/ It just unscrewed itself lol.


exodus. http://www.samsung-omnia.org is a good place to have a look. The how to sub forum and also the general omnia sub forum are very good. Loads of tweaks and apps. Get signed up and get posting questions, people there are damn friendly and helpful :D

modaco has an omnia section but most of the stuff is repeated. And xda developers bring out some of the more complex apps etc.

lucky i only have close mates on msn so not 100's of people.

My touch screen is out in the bottom corner now, and im scared to do the alignment thing again. Took 2 hours last night :/
 
ive no idea... first time it took about 10 attempts then worked. This time took bleeding ages. Im just going to reg edit the values in I think :/ lol

Anyway, how do you update the rom on vista? Samsung update website is playing silly buggers saying I need windows mobile device centre installed... I already have!
 
Where do you put the music so touch player picks it up?

I've put a load of albums onto my phone that i got for X-Mas, but TP doesn't pick them up.

use windows media player instead for now? Or put the music in the internal 8gb *music* folder.

just regedit'd the second phone dialer skin and the touchscreen co-ordinates. I love this phone even more now! :D

How do yo do that? It took me almost 50 times to calibrate my screen last time and, by that 50th time, I wasn't really being very accurate with where I was pressing and it would thus be good to get it a bit more accurate.
 
ok guys ha anyone had a problem with active sync mine keeps saying active sync encountered a problem on the desktop. and has a red icon on the green ball now.

And it wont sync my contacts(it says there are 617 but its more like 170 in reality)
