Hello All,

Cut along story short i just got banned from fle bay, (hope i can say that here) and i do sell a lot of stuff like second hand laptop parts that i have a lot of,

What i wanted to know is any other site like that that i can start using i was going to try ebid but i am not sure if thats any good can anyone help me here?

Got banned for having 2 accounts ( my g.f had 1 and i had 1 in the same address on the same domain email so they banned us both, she buys ( i never do) and i always sell) we never bid on each others stuff. They also banned my brother because he was my brother but lives in another address about 60 miles from us, all because 2 accounts at the same address.

Whats the best thing to do? ebay told me flat they wont give me my account back so i would like to start using another site like that ( hate ebay ) plus they are not getting the £7 i owe them hehe :) )

Is that really the whole story? Sounds pretty weird :)
 
eBay do strange things so probably right.....can't really see flea bay coming here to say their side of the story so we will never know :)

Obviously EB can't understand that in the UK, more than one person per household can use a computer ;)
 
my partner and i have the same address and have been using ebay for years.
seems odd that they would do this, or is it in their terms/conditions somewhere that 2 people don't share the same address?
 
Likewise my wife has an ebay account at the same address as me and we've had our accounts since 2000.

This all sounds very odd.
 
My Sister and her fiancé have two accounts from the same address using the same email domain and they haven't had a problem in the last 5 or so years.

I call shenanigans, how did eBay know that a guy who lives 60 miles away was your Brother? There's something you're not telling us, because as bad as eBay are they wouldn't do what you've said unless something was very amiss.
 
They've done you a favour by banning you, now you're free from their scamming and general awful customer service. :)

For computer parts, there's the Members Market.
 
dont worry I wont :p I'm doing this fair and square! but back on topic - im sure there are many better auction sites around these days. I've not found a good deal on fleebay for yonks.

I was looking around for a better / equal auction site about half a year ago, and didn't have much luck. There are a couple that scrape 'ok', but they are nothing compared to "fleebay".

Obviously this is 6month old information, but I can't see how things would have drastically improved by now.
 
That can't be right. Me, my Dad and my Sister all have accounts and are registered to this address and have been for a good number of years now.
