Hey i have absolutly no idea about water cooling just to start out with.

I dont know if it gives a big advantage or not i just know that my air cooled pc is loud and water could also help me overclock further my spec is in my signature.
My primarly question is, is there a good kit that will cool the CPU and GPU and will fit in or well with my Lian Li Powerarmour case also how is maintenance on them . Thanks for any helop as i ahev no idea where to start with this.

Thanks for your time and feedback

thanks ill read but i know people who are very good at it i may get them to assist or do it. Are there kits that include both specialised gpu cooling and cpu? all i have seen is cpu. thanks for your time

Yes, there are kits that do cpu and gpu but there are so many different gpus these days it's better to buy specialised components than a kit.

What fans are you using? (case/HSF)
is the 260 have stock cooling - have you tryied using rivatuner to slow the fan down?

How quite do you need the pc? as watercooling an OC'ed quad and 260 will need fans and most 'kits' are not up to it.

As Mike said read the sticky and use the forum search tool to look for threads with people asking the same questions.

Oh and welcome to the forum :)

As said, if loudness is an issue, have you tried identifying what is actually making all the noise? I had a very noisy 8800GT but removing the stock cooling and fitting an Accelero S1 reduced temps by 25C and it's now silent.

everything is stock exept for the CPU fan, an asus triton. Iw as hoping there was a kit that would be for i7's and 260's and i could just use that seems itll be more complicated

its not that complicated...if you have built your own PC you can easily water cool it, obviously there is an element of risk with putting water and electricity in the same case but you don't seem bothered by that because you are asking for a kit.
i was quite suprised on just how dear water cooling your CPU and GPU works out, say £50 each for the 2 water blocks, £50 ish for a pump/reservoir another £30 for odds and sods and £50 for a Radiator

Benefits of watercooling -
Greater heat removal - Wont reduce idle temps by much due to ambient temp but should reduce load temps and could help with overclocking due to this
Quieter running - Allows you to run fans slower to remove less heat and hence quieter running but your load temps will go up!

Disadvantages -
Not cheap to start with but you should get quality components otherwise you get none of the benefits.
If leaks you could kiss goodbye to a lot of money! Again, quality parts etc will stop this.
Full cover GPU blocks add £70+ everytime you change gfx cards.
You have to drain system everytime you change parts!

If you got air a good CPU cooler and GPU cooler will be near as quiet, a lot less and easier to work on your PC. Mind you, if you got you PC in a small transit of a case that will help with access!

is there a kit for the i7's and a 260 together or would i have to buy individual parts iw as looking to spend around 200 on it all if possible, i dont replace parts that often only when i can play new games anymore so all the upgrading isnt a massive issue with having to redo the cooling

I think you would need individual parts as I am not aware of any kit that could handle such recent and high-end components.

For £200, it could be done. But you'd need to get some parts second-hand. If new. a good block for the 260 is the best part of £70 alone. A decent pump with a built-in res is another £50+, then £40+ for a decent cpu block, a 120.2 radiator is another £40-50. Then you need tubing, fans, and some modding probably. It's closer to £250 than £200.

No need to link to competitors.

I've chucked a few clips in there but you don't actually need them.
