I had a battery "pop" in my pocket in a physics class. I ended up stripping to my boxers and washing my leg in a workbench sink. It felt like someone was sticking burning needles in my leg. Blushes all around, let me tell you. I think I traumatised the pretty born-again-Christian girl in our class.

Slightly OT but the stupidest thing I ever did with a battery was place the two terminals of a PP3 battery to the live and neutral pins of mains plug on a model railway transformer. Just to see what happened.

Not sure what voltage it slung back at me but it got through the plastic covering on the batteryand gave me a good old jolt. Arm ached for a week.

Definitely don't try that at home, folks.

i'd laugh but i managed to eat battery acid without any assistance and superglue myself to a hoody so can't really talk ^^

Thats nothing - when I lived in the country me and my friends used to take turns in holding the electric cattle fence! No pain like it!!!!!!

It was Diluted but it still made my eye go red/pink all day and feel like it was burnt

I once coulded get a Lid off a tube of Super glue with my hands so i thought it would be a good idea to pull the lid off with my teeth.

Well the lid coem off and super glue tastes really tangy and crap and sets really fast in your mouth and on your teeth
