Hi,

Can someone with this case tell me if the hdd cage is removable or is it pot riveted in?

Got a friend who I buit a pc for 2 years ago and he's trying to remove a hdd but hes struggling to get it out.

i haven't had mine out in ages (been stuck in a box for well over a year), but i believe it's removable, you need to unscrew it from both sides of the case and it should just slide out

here's a pick i've found

so they can be removed, it's just a matter of him working out how ^^

You'll possibly have screws and the plastic clips... The sytem works just using the plastics clips but its best to be sure...

Remember to check both sides of the cage, you'll need both side panels off to remove it.

Yes it is removable , the best way is push it to the front of case.

Thanks for the picture vincent1989.

He finally got the cage out in the end, he allways tries something and gives up pretty quickly, then he rings me saying he can't do it.

I built the system for him about two years ago and expected me to remember how i put the drives in.

All sorted now anyway.
