If so, what are they like? I often get a tight back, and I also like buying crap - so these seem to fit the bill perfectly. However, I'd only like one if they actually do the job, which I know a lot of these 'massagers' do not.

I tried one of these the other day in Westfiels and it was frackin awesome, really enjoyed it! I think I tried the 300 or something, it had an upper an dlower set of nubbins that worked their magic, and I felt really refreshed afterwards. My mate tried it too and was similarly impressed. Very firm action, surprisingly powerful, only limitations I see is the lack of ability to reach areas that a human could do like top of shoulders and neck etc.

I believe the best model is the SBM500H, shows as around £130 online. The 300 is half price in a certain place though, google them. :)

They have a massive TV advertising drive for these things in Australia at the moment. I've been tempted but meh...

The one with two rollers is the 500 (that I quoted above)

Went in to try it again, I'm sold (on the 500, the one with two rollers). Like any other selfish consumer, I'm logging onto the web to buy it from the big bookstore at a nice discount :D

Mmmm I need to go try one now.

I also have been meaning to go get one of those hour long massages, complete and total bliss.

My back aches a lot and i'm taking pain killers for chronic pain becuse of two fused vertabrae. But I understand that probably everyone on the planet has muscle/neck pain as well, me too!

lol, read it as "anyone got a homo massage cushion?"
Well, it is a bit of a gay toy. I support I could just man up and feed on the back aches :D

But seriously, I've sat on a lot of "massage" chairs that either just vibrate you (and soon requires you to go to the toilet) or gives you the rolling-pin treatment. This is the first one that I've tried that comes close to someone giving you (as the box says) a shiatsu massage. The accuracy with which you can position the rollers is fantastic.

If you pay £60 - £100 for an hour massage session, I'd suggest that you buy one of these instead and just give it a go. If it isn't your thing, return it and then go buy your session.

If it is your thing, then problem solved - unlimited back massages for twice the price of a massage session :)

Yeah I could only dream for a pair of magical hands to massage me at will, if it comes close...one of these ;)

Okay, sexual innuendo time... that's not the only thing i'd get them to do!
