Tax question

Cant see it on the post office or DVLA website but do Post Offices accept fax copies of insurance certificate?

Or if I bought Insurance would I be able to tax it online 2 hours after buying it?

Im sure you can tax online without insurance?

They wont accept photocopies.

For online tax they check your reg+insurance against the MID database, not sure how long it would take to appear on there but you can check on www.askmid.com

And yes they definately won't take photocopies.
