I can't stand the look of Ghia Xs. Mainly the wheels. They just look horrid.

most of the cheap ones will be older than 06 plate, so dont fall into the £400 band.

They are £210 currently, but will rise to £215 next year, and then £245 in 2010.

Unless you get an 06 plate or later car, registered on or after 24th march 2006, in which case its £400 this year, £405 next year and then £435 in 2010.

What's the insurance like on these? I'll be 21 in a good area by the time I'd want one. Got a company van for business use only, so this would be for low mileage. Living in a good area.

Didn't realised they had changed it again, everywhere I look about road tax for 09/10 and onwards shows the st220 at least £400 and above.

Ridiculous value for money. If the Soarer hadn't got through the MOT this winter, I was planning on replacing it with one of these. Is there a noticeable amount more torque than the 2.5 V6 ST200s? I only ask because the older STs seem to be going for even sillier money.

Figures at 170 lb/ft vs 210 lb/ft

so a reasonable 19 % increase in torque. But i doubt 20 bhp and 30 lb/ft would be a massive difference.

especially given that the ST200 is around 1350kg and the ST220 is 1490kb so 10 % heavier.
