Anyone bought a mobo from the b grade stock from ocuk? What are the chances of it coming with an I/O plate for the case?

Cables manuals etc i can live without but i would really like this included if nothing else, i have sent a web note asking but as yet haven't had a reply.

I suspect they probably don't come with it, or at least cannot guarentee it either way.

TIA.

I have bought 3 B-Grade mobo's in the past. A P35-DS3L, Asus 650i and an EP35-DS3R and all have worked a treat.

The 650i came in just a box. The P35-DS3L came with box, sata cables and disc. The EP35-DS3R came fully boxed with all the goodies. :)

Edit: Oh and all came with the I/O plate.

Considering ordering one myself, the I/O Plate is my concern also. The one i was looking at is now gone it would seem Asus Rampage Formula X48 was only £91. I presume that's all that's wrong with them, accessories missing?

As said don't expect it to come with anything but the mobo itself in a brown box. Some didn't even get a CMOS battery (!). I only ever bought one ASUS P5N-E and it came in its original box (albeit a bit recked) with all accessories including SLI bridge but no I/O shield. Worked great so if the price is right I'll defo get one from B-grade again.

I ve seen a rampage extreme in the "B" grade for like £172 I m tempted by it lets put it that way, but why was it sent back in the first place :|

oh yeah for RMAing a mobo to OCUK what do I need ot send it back with, I know about the mobo and its pooch sound card but what about the drivers I/O shields ?

Almost certainly the io shield will be missing.
Had several from b grade and the io shield is always missing.

You might not even get the original box a couple i received have just been the MB in a plain box and nothing else.

Well i hope at least the I/O is there, where can i buy one separate if its not? I assume i can pick up a CMOS battery from a local computer shop should it b missing.

Not too concerned with drivers, can just download the latest from asus and install them. As for cables, what do you really need. Got the SATA im currently using it. Same goes for IDE (DVD-RW)

Prepare to be missing one or more of the things in the pic below

I received a B Grade Asus P5Q today and it has all the parts except the backplate.

Not installed yet but that seems pretty good value in my book.

I've ordered a B-grade Gigabyte, stock was 10+ at time of ordering (21st) still no sign of it! Probably looking for a backplate lol.

I ordered the P5Q-E P45 a few hours ago for £80 so hopefully I'll have the same luck as you, though I'd trade the SATA cable for a I/O Plate ;)
