Ok looking to purchase a Panny 42PX80B within the next week or so and i've been looking at the prices of wall mount brackets. Wow is all I can say - I never expected them to be so expensive!
I'm struggling to save enough of my own money for the TV let alone another whopping figure on top for the mount lol. I'm just wondering what others on this forum recommend for wall mounting. Ideally i'm looking for something that does not extrude far from the wall and has a tilt capability (this would be mounted on an exterior wall without studs) and also i'm wondering how other people have wall mounted theirs? If I got hold of some rawlbolts or some long expanding anchor bolts of some sort, would this be enough to hold the plasma? I've never wallmounted a TV before and spending so much on a plasma makes me slightly cautious when it comes to wall mounting but it just looks so much better than having it stood
Also, what cables would you recommend running through the wall in order to futureproof everything? I heard that running some cables through the wall is not advised due to electrical risks and some things that do not comply with the electrical code?
Just wondering if you can help me with wall mounting ideas and methods, the brackets recommended for use and with the types of cables that you'd recommend fitting in order to futureproof the plasma and not have me ripping the wall out again anytime soon
