Well actually they got relegated first season, but looking at all their transfers it says they've spent a total of £17.5m and received £14.25m, so I guess they sold before they bought.

For Fabregas, Ramos and Torres are you praising them? Praise them once a month and if you are lucky they will appreciate. This will increase your score on their favoured personnel. Keep the praising going each month, no more than that, and you could end up on their favoured personnel list at which point should you make an offer for them and Arsenal/Real Madrid/Liverpool reject it, as they should, those players might get upset that they are being denied a chance to join up with someone on their favoured personnel list. :)

Yeah I have been praising them for just that reason :) My scouts say Fabregas would be extremely interested in joining me but Arsenal always reject so I'll keep praising and making offers until he gets upset, Torres and Sergio Ramos just aren't interested but I will keep trying (it worked for Ramos in my 9.1.0 game after 2 seasons).

I don't need these players, but if I could get them I'd probably sell my first or second choice for their position and swap, especially if I could get Sergio Ramos instead of Rafinha (again, in my 9.1.0 game I bought Ramos for £25m and sold Rafinha for £30m).

Also looking at Aguero, but I'm not sure he's actually any better than Rooney and Tevez. I just offered £35m for him to see if it would be accepted, it was and he is extremely interested in joining. Not sure what to do :confused:

Good good. I think it is worth it, especially for Fabregas and Torres, just to try and destabilise two of Utd's biggest rivals. :p

I agree. :) Fabregas, Ramos and Torres aren't needed by many clubs but for who they are and the clubs they are at, signing them is always a nice bonus. You get a very good player and have a chance to ruin their original club. :D As you say Rafinha is a pretty good alternative to Ramos. And Fabregas/Torres have their alternatives. :)

Probably not that much better but quite young and promising and probably also quite a big name so very good for increased sales of merchandise perhaps? ;)

so this new patch guys, i been on holiday is it a thumbs up or a thumbs down ?

ive only played a few games and all in all it does seem a tad better although my strikers are still seemingly incapable of finding the net, played a game with 8 clear cut chances and nly 2 goals, one was an own goal and the other a corner so they probably were not counted in the CC chances.

but they are at least hitting the target as opposed ot the corner flag when one on one so there is hope :p

"You can improve squad morale by winning football matches or rewarding them with new contracts.

So either win games or if that isn't possible and that is why squad morale is down, offering new contracts should help. Presumably it tells player(s) you want them at club, they have a future and you want them to help team improve?

9.2.0 is better than 9.1.0. But seems bugs are creeping in. For example a certain Mr Bojan(gles :p) seems to be available on a free from about Xmas 2008 onwards as the utter incompetents at Barca don't seem to offer him a new contract. :D

Some weird salary issues at Bayern Munich where the whole squad are on mega-super-inflated salaries that would make even Chelski and Middle Eastlands accountants weep into their dollars. :D

And some other bugs that seem pretty obvious. A mate of mine has been losing staff to other clubs. The problem is they just disappear. He doesn't get the notification that another club has offered a contract to a member of his backroom staff and so doesn't know that they've left. Since that wasn't a 9.1.0 bug, that I'm aware of, it must be a new bug, which is something for a patch!

Ahh. Thanks. Strange considering I'm on a 33-game winning run but I think it's probably my fringe players who can't get in the team because I don't rotate much.

Here is my team in January 2013.

Ah, thought you were losing loads. :p

Why three keepers mind? Valdes/Akinfeev/Gordon are three top keepers. Only way to have three would be to have 2 main keepers to rotate and then have a young prospect who doesn't mind the odd game.
 
Valdes is 31 atm so only has a couple more years left in him. I signed Gordon in my second season as backup, but then got injured so decided to get a backup for the backup. :p

I see what you're saying though. Now they're both unhappy because Valdes hasn't missed a game for 2 years and concedes 0.5 goals per match on average. ;)

I have my DB set to large. You can of course add in all players from countries when you start a new game. I like to have Brazil and Argentina in on there. :)
 
Can you see the player in the screenshot in the large database?
I'm not sure if the huge database does anything in the 9.2 patch.
Basically trying to get as many players to be able to buy without taking an hour to create the game, and 5 minutes each save.
 
I'm having a nightmare at the moment, I'm in my 3rd season with MU, come runner up twice in the league and won back to back Champions Leagues and won every other World Club Cup Euro Super Cup nonsense

I'm now at the stage just before I play Real Madrid in the Euro Super Cup and the ****ing thing keeps crashing mid game :(

Anyway of me trying it again but finding out whats causing it?

Patch 920 btw
