Rock Band or Guitar Hero

There is absolutely sod all wrong with the upcoming RB2 drum kits. If you chose RB as the game of choice why the hell would you want a layout that is different to what your seeing on screen.

It would be a waste of money to invest in a drum kit for the opposing game if your game of choice was rock band.

there's plenty of things wrong with the RB2 drums as YouTube shows and lastly having the GHWT drums means you can play both games without dropping a chart note lane if you only had RB1 drums for GHWT

That isn't what was said though, it was asked if RB was the game to go for, you replied yes but go with GHWT drums (which also have a **** load of issues if you go by forums. Or just put in Guitar hero drum problems into youtube, just as many people posting complaints videos).

If your going to go for the RB game it's pointless buying GHWT drums.

Rang round this morning and finally found a store which had them in stock, sold out nearly everywhere for the 360 although all stores had plenty of copies for the
PS3.

What you need to do is...

1 - Get Guitar Hero III Legend of Rock for £35, comes with Wireless Les Paul
2 - Get Rock Band 2
3 - Rent or borrow Rock Band 1 and install the tracks into HD.

I am currently on step 2, once i get it i will get my hands on a copy of RB1 for a day or so to download the tracklist.

Is this for the Xbox 360?

Where can I find step 1 for that price?

Been playing GH3 for the past few days and got the hang of Easy. Jumped up to medium and omg the blue string really makes it a whole lot more difficult - especially because you have to use your pinky to press it.

Yes there are plenty of problems with the GHWT drum set, but the main one is a sensitivity issue regarding either one of the cymbals (with me it's the yellow). If you hit it on the edge it rarely registers.

But thank RedOctane they have a midi-usb cable to adjust the drum sensitivity (providing it was purchased 90 days you should be eligible). I sent my e-mail form off too them as my yellow cymbal doesn't register properly if played on the edge but hits everytime nearer the centre.

No it wont - I'm not usually a GH basher as some will know but the music studio is really crappy in world tour

Aye it is pretty poor, sounds like a wav ringtone and feels rather poor, but for an added bonus it isn't that bad. Cetainly adds some longetivity to it as soon as someone makes a decent tune (i just like playing the drums so doesn't really make a difference).

Just got Rock Band 2 today and I am LOVING IT.

The presentation is much better than GH3, even the tutorial is more fun, and although i have only played 1 song on easy (Eye of the Tiger), it is much more fun to play. The little things that i prefer like the graphics and design of the crowd, the way that the colours of the chords don't change when you hit the energy bar.

And I think it's easier than GH3, i just got 100% on my first ever song on it !

Anybody know when the rock band 2 instruments are out and if they are worth getting over the rock band 1 instruments if I want to buy rock band 1 and 2?
