yes and no, frankly none of the kids and young people in the armies even remotely remember a time when they lived elsewhere. The Hamas soldiers and the majority of those who die in these conflicts don't know of any other life, they are fighting because they think they should have a certain bit of land, that they've probably never seen and they themselves weren't forced out of. Its all a joke, you don't like it, get an education be a doctor and go move to the states, India, Australia, Switzerland, die fighting to get a piece of land thats not even particularly good and will probably never in its history see real peace, why the hell do you want to live in there?
Either way, there is no right side, but when you have a cease fire, and its gone on for a while and the other side weren't obviously going to break it anytime soon this time I would blame palistine for "starting" this round.
Whats even more stupid is they essentially use terrorist tactics, except it works against the USA/UK because real terrorists don't operate out of a government in a specific place easily attackable, they operate in secret and have no obvious targets for retaliation. While Palistine is basically david vs Golliath and a heavily funded far more advanced military, they throw the rock and get attack choppers back in their face, what the hell do they expect.
Why Israel, or the USA/UN don't just take out the leadership and stop that pratt being in charge with his old hatred and get someone newer and friendlier in I don't know. You can kill Sadam, but not this guy? why?
Theres little point spending 7million on aid that will either be dished out by our people or the UN and some will get hurt, probably a lot of the aid will get destroyed. In all likelyhood every loaf of bread given out will find its way into Hamas hands and they'll spend extra on guns/rockets than food.
Pumping money into war zones is a terrible idea, help when its over, helping in the middle of it just helps prolong the situation.
This Aid is helping support the war effort that they started, the sooner they hit a situation where they have no food, too many dead, no help the sooner they have to give in and stop their attacks, its as simple as that. We're playing into their hands, they WANT to be attacked hard by Israel, they WANT to be seen as the weak country in need of aid being beaten on by a bully, its exactly what they plan for. If we treat them as a pile of crap who broke a cease fire and won't get help till they stop horrible attacks on the innocent people then they'll be forced to stop themselves.
Its like a kid who misbehaves, you don't give them rewards, you reward them when they learn to stop misbehaving. By giving a kid things he wants while he's misbehaving you only encourage the behaviour. Frankly, the more we help them while they are at war, the easier it will be for them to be at war.
