Indeed. Its either that or he's disappeared somewhere. Managed to get his brother out of the dogs mouth, breathed in his mouth a bit and managed to revive him from his state of shock. Have left food out for other one everywhere but no sign of him so far. Its been 2 days now.
Brother is merrily running on his wheel as I type.

Yes really, sounds like ive made it up, but I honestly havent. Do you want a picture of the lucky hamsters cuts, or the ripped up by the dog box I had the hamsters in while I cleaned out the cage. Its not been a good end to the year, and honest to god (I think ive been on here long enough for people to know I dont make things up) he wasnt breathing when I got him out of the dogs mouth. Just covered in slobber. Breathed in his mouth and nose at the same time, and rubbed him a bit and he came back to life.

They were in a cardboard box while I was cleaning the cage out, and I thought the dog was shut downstairs. Sadly he must have sneaked up here while I was in another room cleaning the cage.
Honest im not making it up, I feel horrible about it. Its the not knowing if he has escaped or died bit thats bugging me the most.

Hes a labrador/pointer cross, and the hamster was a dwarf, so only about 2 inches long.
