Yep it is, considering the size of the population, and the fact that firearms are not available for purchase over here.
There were over 15,000 gun crimes last year (including gun offenses the home office dont include in their reporting perimeters, such as gun smuggling, possession of a firearm ) for a uk population of 60 million odd people who have no access to firearms.

No it isn't, gun homicides are far less per capita than the usa.
Yes i know, take into account that 25% of all US adults have a legally held gun (thats 75 million odd people) then consider we can actually buy or own any form of firearm bar a Rifle or Shotgun (with certificates) then gun crime over here is worryingly high.
And? People get stabbed instead.

10-15,000 is a very large number of gun crime incidents, to say that we don't have guns. But if you multiply our population so it compares with that of the US, that's still only about 38-45,000 incidents a year. In the US there are 400,000+ incidents a year.
Err I was replying to the previous post. And homicides per capita are still far lower than the usa, so no they aren't getting stabbed instead. Whichever way you look at it, less people per 100,000 are being killed here than the usa.
True, if I see *n at the end of the post, it's generally a sign that said post is going to contain a) garbage b) be a little cry for attention, or c) contain something monumentally unfunny.

the majority of those though are Replica/imitation or bb guns though. Over here they are included in the statistics.
