The Kar in COD5 is awesome. I'd have to say the g3 in COD4 is my favourite weapon though.

I'd have to give the mini gun from Serious Sam a mention here.

I quite like the mavity gun and portal gun from HL2 and Portal as they are a bit different from the usual M4/AK47 that's common in most fps games, and they both feel like quite clever ideas that give a lot of gameplay to their games.

Quite possibly the best sound effects ever when that was in Turok on the N64. I loved the cerebral bore - such fun firing it in a DM and watching everyone squirm as it buzzed around with them all wondering whose head was going to get popped by it.

Q2 railgun. No question. Once you lerned how to hit something with it, it was simply THE most satisfying weapon ever. Even close range it was the weapon of choice. And long range there was nothing to equal it.
