Any Welsh speakers?

Thanks for that - to tired to think about good old Wiki.

Our smallest son was given a little red dragon today and this is the name on his tag, so this explains a lot.

Went to university in Wales so I know all of the road signs, at least. Dim parkio (no parking), dim ysmygu (no smoking), araf (slow), llanrhynchodysbtwystchllochwydd (go).*

* OK, made the last one up.

What nonsense.

West wales is lovely. Outstanding countryside and friendly people. Not once did anyone threaten to set fire to my house, as I had been warned - though some farmers at the local did joke about it once.

Picked up a few bits of Welsh when I was there, which were amusing/handy at the time, but haven't been of any use in my travels elsewhere around the world.

yes, I speak welsh...

But it's increadibly hard to prounounce phonetically...

Add me 2 MSN or something, or I'll if I can upload a sound clip when I'm not on the iPhone :)

Whats that Welsh comedian called ? he was on live at the apollo not too long ago :)
Rhod Gilbert. Much funnier live than his LATA edited performance showed; if you get the chance to see his show about 'the award-winning mince pie', I recommend that you go :)

What nonsense.

What's wrong with that? Every other country in the UK is represented, why not us? Wouldn't be the first time the flag has changed.

And phonetically it would be :- Uh Th-r-eye-g Go-ch(The ch sound is a bit like gathering phlegm from the back of your palate.)
