ahhh the memorys, loved this game so much and when crotch shots were also one hit kills, shooting off limbs, cutting corpses to bits etc etc... :D

Time to see if i can dig this game out of my box of old cds.
 
Bah, my fave weapons have already been listed, so I'll just mention a funny one that no one else has yet: the cannon from Serious Sam :D

especially when you hit the guy right in the face with it and the camera sort of pans round his limp bloody body in slow mo. lol.

No it wasn't. Thousands of shooters had zoom-in on certain weapons, long before Goldeneye. It's infuriating to see games like Goldeneye get far too much credit than they really deserve.
 
Difficult to pick just one...

Painkiller: That combined rocket launcher and chaingun (despite Yahtzee's praise, the Shuriken&Lightning gun is terrible, sorry)
Painkiller Overdose: The crossbow with exploding heads as the secondary fire
Blood: Dynamite (closely followed by the flare gun)
Doom 2: Super Shotgun
Unreal / Unreal Tournament: Flak canon.
 
Apart from Lara Croft's bo^bs ...

The wepaon I will always treasure and be my fave is the bfg on doom.

Doom on the atari jaguar was the first fps I played and the game blew me away.

I uttelry adored it at the time. :)
