As part of our commitment to improve customer service the new OcUK Customer Service forum is now open. This forum is for OcUK customers only therefore please include your Order Number or RMA Number in your opening post.

Posts are only visible by those that make them and OcUK Moderators so your privacy is assured.

The new forum is moderated by no less than 6 OcUK Moderators who are all full-time OcUK employees - Smirnoff, Fatboy, Slackworth, Yewen, Ace Modder and Telescopi. Whilst they all browse the forums outside work hours you'll get the quickest response whilst they are at work.

I hope you find this new support feature useful :)

Just one question about this - does this include all OcUK moderators (i.e. all of them can view posts), or is it just the six mentioned later in your post, who are OcUK employees?
 
does it matter? The bad mods have long gone from here (like the mod who ripped people off in the for sale for a long long time ago)

I'm actually more interested in it from a data protection angle. If I knew that it would only be visible to OcUK employees, then I'd have no problem with giving out certain personal details (it wouldn't then be much different from emailing them the info). If it's visible to non-employees (who I can't see would have any particular contractual obligation), then I would prefer to treat it as a slightly more public form of communication (though recognising that the moderators are trusted individuals).

The Customer Service forum is a useful addition either way. I'd just like to be clear on how it is set up, so that I can approach it as I'm most comfortable.

I have just locked it down to the OcUK Staff moderating the forums. Normal Dons can no longer see the forum.
