Wide necked bottle to put coins in

I use Quality Street/Celebrations/Similar tins.

Had well over £300 in last years (2008's) non-copper tin.

Still not filled/emptied the copper tin.

impressive i would be very interested to know how much is in there.

it worth pointing out, that its the 20ps which really a jar add up,

£1 £2 coins tend to get removed for various reason, most common being morning coffee.

the 20p however stay in and when i cash out, make up most of the value.

Tis full now, should give me and the missus some spends when we going skiing at the end of the month :)[/QUOTE]

thats not full :)

I use a box which seems to get heavier all the time!

I did start counting some of it (bags next to it) which are 10p/20p/50p/£1 which is £130 already then got bored :p

Total weight of uncounted coins is 19.80 kg (including box) no idea how is worth in total.

I know that interest rates are low, but your money would still be better off in a bank account :p

You don't have to count it, not at my local HSBC anyway.

Put cashcard in machine, tip coins in, money credited to account.

Never knew you could do that .. I always thought you had to count and sort into the little bags.

I haven't brought any coins to the bank since I was a kid and just assumed it was the same :o
