Hi.
Im just wondering what sort of 'protection' you have on your iPhones?
Do you use the bare phone?
Just a screen protector?
Just a case?
Case and screen protector?
What type of case? ect;

Im just wondering because ive just purchased an iPhone, and atm, as a temporary measure, i just have a cheap rubber case and a cheap screen protector on it to keep it in good nick for the time being.

What cases, screen protectors, if any, do you all use? How do you find they affect the iPhones usage?

Thanks in advance all. :).

I had mine in an old Ipod sock for about 3 weeks before I decided to get a (fake) leather flip case from a HK seller on the bay. Cost me £3.49 and my phone is still scratchless 3-4 months on.
The case has gaps for headphone socket, the pc socket volume buttons etc.
Main reason I got it was that I didn't want a touch screen phone that I was too afraid to actually use and take about with me. Seemed pointless spending the amount on it, only to use a backup phone

Whoosh, we're all in here ;)

My iPhone is bare, in a Foofpod sock. Can't recommend them enough, have used them on previous iPhone and iPods.

However saying that the back of my 3G has cracked some how..

my bro has a foof for his ipod classic, very good indeed, don't take up much room and provide good protection.

i just got an samsung omnia, ordered a couple of screen protectors, that's all cause it's a phone and don't want to have to take it out of my pocket, out of a protective sock or case just to answer a call, too much hassel imo. i got one of those silicon covers with my phone, though i just hate the feeling of them and they look horrible, don't use it.

Just a BodyGuardz shield on the front. As an invisible shield fan, the bodyguardz stuff is much better. I tend to use these shields on all my mobile devices/mp3 players etc and they've always worked well.

I just don't like bulky cases. They ruin the looks of your device completely and I feel they are tacky. So far the rear of my 3G has very minute scratches on it even though it isn't protected. The phone gets semi-rough treatment as it gets shoved into my jeans and jacket pocket frequently too. I have dropped the phone twice on the bus though during it's first few weeks - luckily there were no visible marks :o

Bare phone for me!

Did have a belkin case if I remember rightly, then went to one of those shades condom like things then just had it bare and have done ever since.

My iphone is in great nick, I follow one key rule...never put anything in the same pocket as the one my iphones in...sad I know :D

Trying to find these in the UK is pretty tough going, Is there a UK distributer of these?

I had my N95-8Gb, and apart from when i dropped it and it got a nick on the corner, it was in pretty good condition, not a mark anywhere on it! lol.

Im unsure what to do with my iPhone though, i currently have a cheap rubber case on it, which does the job, but it does make the fit in my car mount VERY tight.
I am tempted to just use it bare with the screen protector, but ive heard reports that they crack if it lands on the corners...and that the back is a bit rubbish.

Bare back.. I mean iphone here.

Been abused from day one, dropped, rage thrown, sat on etc..
Still alive but showing some battle scars now

Invisible Shield here. Exposes small amounts of the back of the courners. Used one on my Video Ipod. Would highly recommend them. Bit fiddly to put on but very good.

I've got a Sena leather case - works well for me. No scratches and it seems to clean the iphone as well.

Switcheasy CapsuleNeo for the case and a Zagg Invisible Shield on the front. All the protection you'll ever need, it goes in pockets with keys and cash and it's as good as new. The case doesn't add a huge amount to the phone size and it comes with a dock adapter for the Universal Dock.

I use anti-glare screen protector (available from apple store, don't remember the brand) and Vaja slide in case.

Has been like that since July, no single scratch :)
