Hey there, My Antec 1200 arrived today from OcUK and i am amazed :D
Brilliant case. Im currently upgrading a lot of parts for my pc - getting a Q9550 this month. But i wanted to ask a question: could someone reccomend me a high qaulity PSU in the region of 100-120 pounds,Modular, and has cables long enough for the 1200? Im currently using a horrible Jeantech 700watt Storm PSU.. the fan on this even finds it hard to start, and i dont want to risk messing up hardware with it frying itself, and i wanted a good modular to replace it that can meet the loads of an Overclocked q9550.

Thanks - Azzy.

9600 gt. Planning on Replacing that within the year too, wanting the PSU to be futerproof.

with the corsair HX520 you can not route the motherboard power 8pin cable behind as it is not long enough or the one i bought a year or so ago wasn't (this is on a ds4 board and goes to the top next to the cpu) everything else routed fine and the rest of the cables were long enough to reach everywhere.

but the power supply is fantastic mine is running the stuff in my sig and 4 hd's a dvd rw (but this is only with a ati1950pro) 24/7

Would have to buy some extensions, im only coincious about the wattage available from the corsair modles, i would like mine to last quite a while, ready for overclocking a qaud to a few Hds and latest nvidia etc, im not sure how long a 520 would last coping with High end kits in the future.

I haven't bough an extension, i suppose it depends just how much you want to hide it.

If you want to have a little more headroom to upgrade (or future proof) go for the Corsair HX 620W. I believe it's the same as the 520 just slightly more powerful.

Personally id recommend this Tagan which i also have -( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp... PipeRock TG800-BZ 800w Modular BZ Series PSU )- i know they have a bad rep for some reason which im unaware of but ive always had them and never been let down, now Hyper PSU's now those have got fail written all over them :p
